DRMNGNOW Releases New Track ‘Never Defeated’

Yorta Yorta artist DRMNGNOW has unveiled a powerful new track in the form of Never Defeated.

The collaboration with producer Dizz1 (Aloe Blacc, Roots Manuva, Blu, Georgia Ann Muldrow) is in response to the passing of George Floyd back in May and the resulting global uproar which was felt intensely by First Nations people in Australia.

“This piece is dedicated to all Black/Blak lives that have been lost at the hands of colonial systems,” DRMNGNOW said.

“The system has been designed to bring about destruction for us. However, we remain, we are resilient and we shall continue to uprise, Never Defeated on Blak, Indigenous Land.”

The hard-hitting single sees DRMNGNOW explore new sonic territory to great effect.
