After spending 2017 on the west coast of America writing new music, Drapht is finally back with a new track, details for his sixth album and some headline shows.
The Perth hip hop artist has today revealed The Come Down Was Real (featuring Indoor Fins) — the first cut from his forthcoming LP, Arabella Street, expected to drop later this year.
"I decided I wanted tackle the release of this album a little differently this time around," Drapht said.
"I really had to attempt to take the pressure away from releasing individual songs and sole singles that didn’t quite represent the albums entirety and in the past tended to be extremely stressful. So I wanted to release the album in sections of multiple songs at a time instead; that way giving people more of a taste of things to come; that will then lead to the full body of work later in the year."

To celebrate the single, Drapht has confirmed five intimate showcase dates in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this August.
The ARIA Award-winning songwriter will be joined at the gigs by Complete, Bitter Belief and K21.
