"Any way you showed support, thank you.”

Wednesday night's Down To Earth charity concert in Melbourne is confirmed to have raised over $1 million with donations still pouring in.

The show, which took place at Sidney Myer Music Bowl and featured performances from the likes of Gang Of Youths, Tash Sultana, Angus & Julia Stone and Jack River, was attended by over 12,000 people, while almost 670,000 live-streamed the event on YouTube.

100% of profits made from tickets and merchandise are being donated to Red Cross, WIRES, Wildlife Victoria, Emergency Leaders for Climate Action, Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation (Firesticks).

"To play to 12,000 people knowing we are all there for such an important purpose was wildly inspirational," River said.

"We want to thank every single person who sung along, watched on YouTube, danced or supported - any way you showed support, thank you.”
