'Thor' director Taika Waititi gives us all the updates.
Given that Taika Waititi's Hollywood feature debut, Thor: Ragnarok, is only days away from its release, you'd be forgiven for thinking plans for a spin-off of his critically-acclaimed 2014 film, What We Do In The Shadows are scrapped.
But speaking to The Music while in Sydney this month, the New Zealand filmmaker said work on the project is already underway.
Waititi confirmed what actor Rhys Darby told The Music last year; that the spin-off will be based on the wolfpack.
"That is the plan," Waititi said.

"We are still story-lining that and writing it, but [co-writer, co-director and actor Jemaine Clement] and I are notoriously lazy.
"It took us a long time to write What We Do In The Shadows. We may as well not even written it though, because we didn't show the script to anyone.
"We do have plans to do it, it is in the works, it's just when."
