The superlove lads will be heading our way this December!
In my younger teen years, I used to read a lot of what was arguably the best U.K. music publication, Rock Sound magazine, and one band from their neck of the woods that they'd push really hard was Don Broco. Their coverage of this groovy, hard-hitting English rock band has had me following the group since the early days of 2012's 'Priorities', right through to their slicker, funk-inclined second LP, 2015's 'Automatic'. Truly, the soaring, catchy and dance floor moving anthems that these guys effortlessly produce are nearly second to none.
While the four-piece are used to playing some pretty major shows over in their native England - most notably a 10,000 capacity show going down in London this November - Don Broco will show excited Australian fans and the curiously uninitiated their bombastic live sets in close quarters with three East Coast gigs this December. After literally years of waiting for the band reach Aussie shores, I'll finally get to see Don Broco live, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
If, of course, you've never heard of the Broco boys before, be sure to stream their latest single, 'Technology' below. And if that is indeed your fancy, go listen to 'Pretty' and what is perhaps their coup de grâce track, 'Everybody'.
I honestly cannot wait for this one!
