Christmas just turned into Litsmas over at Grange Road in Sandringham, Victoria, where one dwelling has drawn major crowds for its epic and unusual Chrissy lights set-up.

Rather than traditional carols, these locals opted for a far more modern vibe, syncing their Christmas lights to the beats of Dom Dolla and MK’s hit track Rhyme Dust. The result? A rave that’s collided with Santa's workshop, and the result is a spectacle that's as funny as it is festive.

If pairing an epic track to the flashing of festive lights sounds familiar, that’s probably because (what looks to be) the same Sandringham house previously blew our collective minds back in 2020 with their Christmas lights set up synced to our favourite pandemic anthem, Get On The Beers.

The epic display comes hot off Dom Dolla’s recent sold out shows at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Bowl, one of which featured a surprise appearance by none other than Spiderbait.

Posting the iconic moment the two legendary Aussie acts merged to Instagram on Wednesday (Dec. 20), Dom wrote: “A few weeks ago I decided to remix one of my favourite records ‘Black Betty’ just for my DJ sets… I really wasn’t expecting it to blow up like it did 😅 @spiderbait reached out to me not long after and mentioned how much they loved it.”

“I was absolutely stoked and sheepishly asked if they’d been down to come out and perform it live. This is the result 🔥 House rocks 🤘🏼”

One fan who attended the show commented, “Dear Mr Dom, 21 years of rocking at the bowl, and this set by far was the ultimate captivating set I've ever watched. Not to mention, I cried twice in happiness for your dreams coming true.. Spiderbait are Aussie icons and hand up, so are you.”

Another added, “This is the final boss of Australian music fr.”
