English band Does It Offend you Yeah? Have just finished rocking dance floors across the country on their Australian tour. While they were cutting a lap of Oz they found time to drop into radio station Triple J and shed some light on their next record.
It was only a year ago when DIOYY? released their debut LP ‘You Have No Idea What You’re Getting yourself Into’ and the guys have been flat out touring around the globe. While all this has been happening the band has still found time to record a new LP.
In the interview with JJJ the band had to say this about the new record… “The last album we had tracks that sounded like two people doing a production dance track and we had tracks that sounded like five people playing in a band. This album's an amalgamation of those two things so it's got like an electronic spine to the album and it's not so diverse. It's more like us playing live in a studio.”
No release date has been set just yet but the band hope to have it on shelves by March 2010.
