In sad news today, Bernard Partick 'Doc' Neeson, frontman of the iconic Australian rock group, The Angeles, has passed away as of earlier this morning.  

In sad news today, Bernard Partick 'Doc' Neeson, the lead singer of the iconic Australian rock group, The Angels, has passed away. 

The Australian rock icon died earlier this morning. Neeson's death comes just 17 months after he was diagnosed with a severe brain tumour. 
According to a statement released by his publicist, Catherine Swinton, he reportedly passed away peacefully today at 7.15am. 

The Angels formed in Adeliade in 1974 and saw huge local and international success across four decades with almost a dozen successful singles, including the seminal 'Am
