Japan's DJ Krush is one of the most innovative turntablists going aroundand has been for close to 30 years now. The 50-year-old DJ has made a name for himself with his stunning atmospheric instrumental productions and continues to push the envelope with his stunning brand of electronic music.
Call it what you will - ambient, trip hop, hip hop - the music that this classy DJ creates is something quite unlike anything you'll hear from anyone else. Most recently Krush dropped a series of ten singles over ten months from 2011 and 2012 but he is due for a new record some time this year; goodness knows fans have been waiting a while for it - his last record Jaku was released nine years ago.
He has announced he will be in Austraolian this April, but has confirmed just one date at this point in time, which will see him playing Brisbane club Coniston Lane on Friday 19 April. You can purchase tickets for the show right now.
