Afrika BambaataaIconic DJ Afrika Bambaataa has announced a handful of Australian tour dates.
The industry veteran will play seven shows while he is here as part of his 30th Anniversary Tour of Planet Rock - probably his most known track.
Bambaataa is considered a pioneer behind the surge of hip hop music in the early 80s. Over the years he has collaborated with a host of big names like James Brown, George Clinton, UB40 and A Tribe Called Quest.
His music has also been covered by many, including this gem take on Renegades of Funk from Rage Against The Machine.
