The lauded burlesque performer brings her 'Strip, Strip, Hooray!' show Down Under in a couple of months

Globally celebrated burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese will be bringing her critically acclaimed Strip, Strip, Hooray! show Down Under for nine special dates this June.

With double showings lined up in east- and west-coast capitals, Von Teese will be joined by long-time MC Murray Hill as well as lauded fellow performers Catherine D'Lish and Perle Noire when she debuts Strip, Strip, Hooray! for Aussie audiences.

"Strip, Strip, Hooray! showcases my most extravagant acts, along with a show-stopping support cast of the creme de la creme of modern burlesque," Von Teese enthused in a statement. "Don't miss us for an unforgettable night of sophisticated striptease and riotous comedy!"

First-timers and return viewers alike to the spectacle of Von Teese's elegant and sultry shows will be treated to four of the venerated performer's "most exhilarating" performances, including a reimagined version of her well-known 'martini glass' routine, featuring an oversize art-deco cocktail glass made of more than 250,000 Swarovski crystals. Fancy.
