And your top five are...
Entries for this year's Discovered At Marble Bar competition closed a couple of weeks ago, with the public being the judge and jury as to the shape the finalist line-up would take — and now those results are in, with today's announcement of the top five acts headed to the Hilton Sydney this week.
Battling it out for the grand prize of $10,000 at this Wednesday's final will be world music/rock-pop outfit Night Light Band, latin-soul smooth-rockers Nothin But Jam, blues pianist Rory Cross, fellow piano man AJ Dyce, and local acoustic two-piece Death Do Us Part. See/hear a selection of the finalists' work below.
This Wednesday's grand final will be open to the public, and kicks off from 6pm. The evening will be judged by X Factor 2011 winner Reece Mastin, Rolling Stone Australia's Rod Yates, and The Music's own Sally-Anne Hurley, with MC duties behing handled by veteran compere Jason "Jabba" Davis.
