J MascisDinosaur Jr.'s leading man J Mascis is due to release a new solo album, Tied To A Star this August.
This mostly solitary endeavour was recorded and produced by Mascis himself but includes special guests Ken Maiuri, Pall Jenkins, Mark Mulcahy and Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power. Tied To A Star is the veteran frontman's first solo album in three years, the follow-up record to 2011's hit release Several Shades of Why.
