The indie-rockers are hitting Yah Yah's with their new release next month
Melburnian indie outfit DIET. may have weathered the misfortune of having some bastard steal their car (and gear) recently, but they're not letting the setback define their year, preparing to bounce back with an ebullient launch show for their debut EP at home next month.
The band have spent much of the past two years honing their garage-surf strains into the slick package you see today, having first turned heads with last year's debut single Your House before following up in style with successor tracks The Rip and Life Limbo.
While they continue to recoup their losses from last month's theft, the band have accrued enough gear to step out to launch their new EP at Yah Yah's, Fitzroy, on Friday 14 October. The show — which is proudly presented by The Music — will feature support from Slowcoaching, Tram Cops, Doona Waves and Lovejoy.
