Diesel Previews Forthcoming Album With Feb 2016 Tour

Due for release next year, Mark Lizotte, aka Diesel, will pay tribute to the artists that influenced him on a new album, Americana, including a reading of Bruce Springsteen's epic Born To Run with a national tour to commence in February 2016. 

Earlier this year, Diesel took to the road solo on what he dubbed his A Time And Place Tour, on which he attempted to "connect the dots between primary influences". With Americana, he naturally hones in on the American side of that catalogue of influences. 

The shows will kick off in Sydney on Friday February 5 before the musician makes his way through Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, before returning to Sydney again to wrap the tour up in March. 

While a album release date is yet to be announced, it is understood that it is expected to be released by mid-year — the upcoming shows will give Aussie fans a chance to see the artist live in concert mere months away before the record drops.
