Dew Process To Release Anniversary Digital Compilation This Friday

To mark their tenth birthday, Brisbane-based record label Dew Process will release a pretty fucking fantastic 45-track digital compilation record titled The Procession: 10 Years of Dew Process, showcasing some of the best homegrown and international acts to be released by the label.
 
Dew Process is the brainchild of Paul Piticco, who was managing Powderfinger in 2002 when he decided to create an artist-friendly for Australian and Kiwi acts – thus, getting the ball rolling with release of an At The Drive-In spawned Sparta EP, adding the likes of The Fergusons and Seafood to their roster, before signing the now very successful songstress Sarah Blasko.

The label now boats releases from local acts such as The Living End, Bernard Fanning and Jebadiah, with international signings such as Mumford & Sons, The Hives and Grouplove.

Their award stats aren't too shabby either, with 11 ARIA wins, two J Awards, plus multiple nominations for both, two #1 spots in triple j's Hottest 100, 11 albums certified Gold, six Platinum and six certified Gold-selling singles with four Platinum.

Piticco said today, “When the whole team sat down and went over the compilation's tracklisting, we were astounded at how much great music there was to choose from. I was really proud of our team and all our artists. It's a cracking list! And yet, so many great tracks had to be omitted due to space.”
