The band of one of metal's most unique characters, Devin Townsend Project, have just announced three Australian headline shows this October.

If metal has a mad scientist, Devin Townsend would be it – he's spend the better part of two decades branding a singular and unique sound that fans have affectionately dubbed 'Devy Metal'.

He'll be swinging through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth supporting his latest album Epicloud, which is only the latest in a string of albums that he's released to widespread critical and fan acclaim.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 27 June at 9am and fans can expect that Townsend will be digging deep into his back catalogue as well as cranking out his current material.
