In late March, Delta Goodrem revealed that she had to reschedule her UK and European tour dates as she was on strict vocal rest. She was only two weeks out from the shows.

While preparing new music and gearing up for the Innocent Eyes Australian tour taking place later this year, she revealed, “I unfortunately have overused my vocal cords to the point of me having no voice for extended periods of time.

“I have been pushing through this month believing my voice would heal but as I sit here typing from rehearsals with a ready show, my doctors have just ordered me to go on strict vocal rest and not sing.”

Goodrem promised new dates, and in a new video posted to social media yesterday, the Born To Try singer shared that after a long time coming, her voice had returned and she had the OK from doctors to sing again.

In the video, Goodrem sits on some stairs and dressed casually, showcases a little vocal warm-up exercise followed by a snippet of her singing Christina Aguilera’s Fighter.

Delta Goodrem announced the Innocent Eyes 20th-anniversary Australian tour in November. Celebrating Innocent Eyes in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, Festival Theatre in Adelaide, Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane and Perth's Riverside Theatre, fans can celebrate the iconic album in stunning theatres this September and October.

Goodrem said about the tour announcement, "I feel so grateful to have had all the opportunities this album has brought in my life and all the incredible people that took me into their homes with this album and who have been on this journey with me. This is going to be a wonderful night together of music and storytelling celebrating the album that changed my life."
