"Support those who bring you live music each and every week."

Countless tours, gigs and more have been cancelled in recent weeks due to the COVID-19 crisis, but that won’t stop Australia’s live entertainment industry from powering on, with some of the country’s top artists and comedians set to take part in new streaming festival Delivered, Live this weekend.

The event – which punters can enjoy from the comfort of their own home while exercising self-isolation – will take place this Saturday, April 4, from 5pm and will feature performances from Alex Lahey, Bob Evans, Ali Barter, Henry Wagons, Even, CW Stoneking, Teeny Tiny Stevies and sets from comedy favourites Andy Saunders and Sami Shah.

The new initiative will be streamed for free, but viewers are encouraged to make a donation by purchasing a ticket through Oztix, which will help the industry and those working within it, including artists, managers, sound engineers and support staff.

The event will also support bushfire impacted regional wineries, with tailored beverage packs on sale now to take your viewing experience to the next level.

“Delivered, Live is designed to not be a charity but to directly support those who bring you live music each and every week at venues across the country.” Handshake Agency’s Leigh Treweek said.

Minister for Regional Development Jaclyn Symes added: “We’re committed to supporting our regional communities in staying connected during these unprecedented times and the Delivered, Live streaming festival will be a fun and engaging online event to support our regions and create a feeling of togetherness.

“The Delivered, Live Streaming Festival will be a wonderful way for all Victorians to support our regional communities impacted by the bushfires and coronavirus, while providing vital funds for the creative arts industry.”
