American deathcore act Defiler have been confirmed as part of the second lineup announcement for Soundwave 2014.
The band's place on the lineup was confirmed through a Twitter conversation between frontman Jake Pelzl and festival main man AJ Maddah earlier today.
The heavy Californian outfit, who released latest album 'Nematocera' last year, join Suicide Silence, I Call Fives, Zebrahead, ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones' new band Devil You Know and about two dozen other acts on the second lineup announcement for the festival.
The full lineup is due to be revealed tonight, with Maddah estimating the announcement to come 11pm AEST.
