US-based indie-rock outfit DEERHUNTER have set their sights on Australia, announcing a handful of tour dates for December.
Just as I thought there couldn't be anymore exciting news to fan out about today, here it is. Thanks internet! It's been a few years since they've graced our shores, but they haven't forgotten about us.
US-based indie-rock shoegaze extraordinaires DEERHUNTER have announced today that they will be taking over a small handful of venues over a few nights around our country for what are set to be some amazing shows.
DEERHUNTER are set to be playing headline shows along the east coast in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, plus an extra headline performance at this year's Meredith Music Festival.

Since originally bursting out onto the global scene in 2001, DEERHUNTER have undergone a number of lineup, genre and stylistic changes. Constantly striving for innovations in sound and technique through their releases, this notion is something that spills forth from their studio sessions and out onto the stage in a live setting.
Known worldwide for their ecstatic live shows, particularly showcasing the antics and talents of frontman Bradford Cox, DEERHUNTER'S handful of Australian shows this season are something not to be missed.
