California rock duo Deap Vally will play two extra Aus dates while they're touring for Splendour In The Grass.

The musical partnership of Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards have already visited our shores earlier this year for the first time, so their local fans must be loving this. They'll play in Sydney and Melbourne.

After Splendour, the ladies will take on a bunch of other big name festivals across the globe, including Lollapalooza, Pukkelpop, Leeds Festival and Reading Festival. They'll release their debut LP Sistrionix in June.

Tickets for the SITG sideshows go on sale Tuesday 4 June at 10am. If you're making the trip to Byron, you can catch Deap Vally on the Friday.
