Dean Lewis To Perform One-off Global Live Stream Event Next Month

Dean Lewis has announced he'll perform a one-off global live stream event next month. 

On the back of his new single, Falling Up, the Sydney songwriter will  play a 45 minute set which will be "performed live and streamed out globally from an undisclosed location" at 8pm AEST on Friday 30 April.

Since its release three weeks ago, Falling Up has been streamed over five and a half million times, while the official music video has been viewed almost one million times. 

“I always thought I would be happy when I finished school or when I passed an exam, or I got a job or a promotion or if I went travelling and then I was like – ‘ooh, now I have a record deal, what if I have a big song?'" Lewis said of the single.

"Then, I had a big song, and I was on the road for three years and when I stopped, I realised it had all passed me by and I was actually less present and more anxious and stressed than ever."
