With his 2019 album Psychodrama, Dave took home the 2020 Mercury Prize and Album of the Year at the BRIT Awards. Following the album, he had his acting debut, and in 2023, his single Sprinter with Central Cee was his third and longest-running #1 song in the UK. It also debuted at #1 in Australia, where it remained for seven weeks.
Earlier this year, Dave released his new album The Boy Who Played The Harp, which marked his first new project since 2023. His latest single, Raindance, featuring Tems, follows the pattern of previous singles Sprinter, Location, and Clash, and is on its way to achieving Platinum status in Australia.
