Dates Confirmed For WAMFest 2017

Going from strength to strength each yeah, WAMFest has already ready locked down dates for the 2017 music showcase and conference sojourn.

This year’s massive program saw a record number of attendees across multiple days, with more than 14,000 punters getting amongst local music and the conference, topping the 2015 effort by 30%.

But that doesn't mean the fine folk at WAM are taking it easy, with next November’s four-date run set to roll out from Thurs 2 – Sun 4, with WAMFest itself running the duration while WAMCon takes place on the Fri and Sat.

Relocating the awards ceremony to Claremont Showground was one of a handful of changes implemented this year, and it seems there’s more to follow as WAM say farewell to Gun Fever legend and Festival Coordinator Greg Sanders are three years of tireless efforts.

“Huge thanks to Greg for all his hard work, innovation and commitment over the past three years!” WAM said.
