DD Dumbo joins an already stellar line-up after international band drop out

St. Jerome's Laneway Festival have announced that DD Dumbo (otherwise known as Oliver Hugh Perry) will be performing at the Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney dates (Adelaide TBC) in late January and early February next year.

DD Dumbo replaces Kathleen Hanna’s dance-punk band The Julie Ruin who had to pull out of Laneway due to their guitarist facing an "unanticipated and unavoidable medical conflict". The Laneway line-up features a heap of big acts including Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), Tame Impala, Camp Cope, Gang Of Youths and Glass Animals.

The Victorian has kept busy playing huge festivals, touring with Courtney Barnett, St Vincent and Beirut and most recently winning triple j’s J Award for Australian Album of the Year for his debut record, Utopia Defeated.
