Time to celebrate thirty years since she stole our hearts
It's been thirty years since Cyndi Lauper broke ground with her poptastic hit album She's So Unusual. So to celebrate, the adored performer is coming to Australia to play a bunch of shows in August and September.
Lauper helped define pop music in the 80s with her hits Time After Time, She Bop, True Colours and her signature song Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Her quirky, colourful style inspired a generation and she's continued to release music in the years since her breakthrough. Lauper's most recent album Memphis Blues was nominated for a Grammy in 2010.
As if you haven't danced around without a care in the world to this anthem...
