Cub SportBrisbane indie band Cub Sport have scored a deal with US independent record label Cosine Records, meaning their latest EP Paradise will get an American release.
It looks as though the group are giving the US market a real crack, as they've also just announced two appearances at the upcoming CMJ Music Marathon. They join a host of other Aussies that will descend upon New York in October for the event.
When they return home, the band will also play a few shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane during November. You can catch the group on tour at the moment with Jinja Safari. Check out theGuide for details.
The five-piece recently underwent a name change, after the Scouts Australia association took legal action over their previous moniker of Cub Scouts. We spoke to the guys about the decision soon after, which you can read all about here.
