Cub SportCub Sport have soared into the ARIA Albums chart with their new self-titled LP to claim this week’s highest local debut.
In the lead up to their largest headline tour to-date, the Brisbane rockers have claimed #12 on the Albums chart with their third record, while American singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers takes out the week’s highest debut as Heard It In A Past Life lands at #8.
As expected, Phil Collins’ current Australian tour has seen the UK legends’ The Singles compilation receive a bump, climbing to #9 on the Albums chart from #48 last week.
Other debuts come from James Blake's Assume Form (#22), Future's THE WIZRD (#33), Papa Roach's Who Do You Trust? (#42), Dodie's Human (#50) and Sharon Van Etten's Remind Me Tomorrow (#68), while Missy Higgins’ The Sound Of White and On A Clear Night re-enter at #18 and #34 respectively.
Over on the Singles chart, Ariana Grande returns to the top spot with her new cut, 7 Rings, knocking Post Malone and Swae Lee's Sunflower down to #2.
Sydney's Dean Lewis cracks the top 20 with his new single, 7 Minutes (#16), following an appearance on Ellen, while Hottest 100 contenders Ocean Alley enter the chart with Confidence alongside new music from Peking Duk & Jack River and more.
