Cub SportBrissy indie pop quartet Cub Sport are celebrating in a big way today with news that they'll be signing a global deal with indie heavyweight Nettwerk Music for their upcoming debut album, This Is Our Vice.
Their first album is due out on 4 March, but they've also revealed their new single Only Friend today for fans to get a feel for the new tunes. The band's Tim Nelson says of the track: "All of the vocals you hear are the original ones, from my bedroom as I was writing it, it truly captured that moment."
Nettwerk is already home to fellow Aussies like Boy & Bear, The Paper Kites and Xavier Rudd & The United Nations, so the signing is a huge step in the right direction for the young band.
