"Help is coming."
To help raise funds and awareness for the refugee crisis, Crowded House will release a limited edition 7” of Help Is Coming later this month, with Benedict Cumberbatch recording an intro for the song's film clip.
The tune, which originally featured on compilation Afterglow in the late ‘90s, comes with unreleased b-side Anthem and artwork by Crowded House’s bass player Nick Seymour, with all royalties and proceeds being donated to Save The Children.
Crowded House’s Neil Finn said the song had finally found an appropriate home and the global crisis is at the forefront of his mind.
“There is such a huge scale and urgency to the current refugee crises that barely a day goes by without some crushing image or news account to confront us. We can’t be silent anymore,” Finn said.

“It's an honour to be a part of a growing chorus of voices to create action and make it real... Help is coming.”
The idea for the release came from UK broadcasters/writers Caitlin Moran and Pete Paphides, who helped bring the whole thing together.
The iconic song has also been made the soundtrack to a short film on the subject, which features an intro from acting superstar Cumberbatch.
Help Is Coming is currently available for pre-order via The Vinyl Factory, and you can find our more info on Save The Children the release via the Help Is Coming website.
