Courtney Barnett Announces Global Live Stream Event From Iconic Melbourne Venue

Courtney Barnett has today announced a global live stream event, set to take place next month. 

The much-loved Australian artist will perform from Melbourne's iconic Royal Exhibition Building, marking her first band show since January. 

The show, dubbed From Where I'm Standing: Live From The Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne, will air across multiple timezones around the world with Australia from 8pm AEDT (WA airs from 8pm AWST) on Thursday 17 December.

From Where I'm Standing is the first Australian production by DRIIFT, the company behind recent live stream events with Kylie Minogue, Niall Horan, Laura Marling and Nick Cave (read our review of Cave's show here). 

DRIIFT, which was co-founded by ATC Management's Ric Salmon and Brian Message, recently announced their hiring of Paul Sloan as the company's producer and promoter for shows in Australia and New Zealand. Read more about it here.
