They've broken many records already
English country duo The Shires have unveiled plans to bring their live show to Australia in a headline capacity for the first time ever, coinciding with their spot at CMC Rocks Festival.
Their name — borne from the fact that Ben Earle is from Hertfordshire and Crissie Rhodes is from Bedfordshire — have already scored the honour of being the very first British country act to crack the UK top ten. They're also the first British country act to be signed to a major Nashville record company (Universal Music Group Nashville).
With their second record My Universe in tow, The Shires will have Tamworth artist Aleyce Simmonds as support when they play a show in Sydney and Melbourne in late March.
