Could Queen Be Coming Back To Australia?

Legendary band's ambiguous tweet sets imaginations running wild Down Under

More Queen Queen

Tongues are wagging among the international fan community for UK rock icons Queen, with the legendary band cryptically tweeting that they will be returning this year to a country they have not visited in 30 years.

Speculation is rife that the reveal will be that they intend to revisit Australia – the last time Queen were here was for the 1985 The Works tour, so the timing would be just about right – though it would be foolish to get too far ahead of ourselves at this advent.

Despite the cheeky response of some American fans, the US is categorically out: founding Queen members Bryan May and Roger Taylor are joining Adam Lambert on a North American tour in June, to say nothing of their multiple visits there over the years.
