Prominent musical identity Corey Taylor is set to release his autobiography in the coming months, with official details emerging about the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman's penned novel.
Entitled, 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good’, the 256 page autobiography is due to hit stores on July 12th via Ebury Press.
“For the first time, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor speaks directly to his fans and shares his worldview about life as a sinner. And Taylor knows how to sin. As a small-town hero in the early ’90s, he threw himself into a fierce-drinking, drug-abusing, hard-loving, live-for-the moment life," a press release notes.
Killyourstereo reported details about the book last year, with Taylor reportedly telling website Attention Deficit Delirium the following:
"It’s about the Seven Deadly Sins and my take on them and how I don’t think they’re sins at all. They’re human characteristics. They’re just human flaws and things that we all experience, yet because we all deal with them we’re all doomed? Screw you. To me, it’s just part of being human, and it’s me making the case for that and saying that you can go through all of these things and at the end of the day you can still be a good person. I’m telling stories from my past and balancing humor (sic) with serious, dark stuff. I’m really excited about it," the musician said.
