Cookin' On 3 Burners Have Now Entered The UK Top 30

The incidental international acclaim just keeps on coming for Victorian outfit Cookin' On 3 Burners, who have now seen a remix of their track This Girl by French producer Kungs rocket its way up the official UK Top 100 singles chart to land inside the top 30 after cracking the countdown last week.

The Kungs Vs Cookin' On 3 Burners version of This Girl jumped an incredible 62 places to rise from #91 last week to #29 this week, reflecting the track's dominant performance internationally, especially on charts around Europe, where Kungs has been taking the track to dance floors all around the continent this month.

Released internationally by Kungs himself under exclusive license to Sound Of Barclay (Universal Music France), the track — featuring local songstress Kylie Auldist on vocals — was co-written by stalwart Aussie muso Lance Ferguson, also of The Bamboos, which keeps things in the Universal family at least (Ferguson is signed to Universal Music Publishing Australia).

On top of its ascension up the UK charts, This Girl has also had another strong run in Germany, where it's edged ever further up the chart to settle in right under the top spot to take #2, up on its #4 result last week. Meanwhile, the track has also moved inside the top 30 here at home, stepping up from #31 to #29 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
