It's just we're not really sure when the whole thing is going down yet
New York-bred self-described purveyor of "mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion funk" Com Truise is making his inaugural trip Down Under very soon - but he's being scant on the details.
The first mention of the man making a dedicated touring trip to the country came a couple of days ago on Instagram and Twitter, when the ascendant electronic musician posted a gig poster for a show at Sydney's Goodgod Small Club on September 13, with the caption: "Finally making my way to Australia! Sydney on sale now, more dates to follow!"

He has since followed that announcement up with the revelation of details for his scheduled appearance in Melbourne, which is set to go down a few days before Sydney's outing, on September 10, at the Corner Hotel. Tickets are available now.

Truise will be joined for that performance by Melburnian quartet Mildlife, who straddle the divide between contempory and retro aesthetics in a manner akin to old-school projections of the future.
More Australian dates for Com Truise's debut Australian odyssey will be announced in the coming weeks. We'll keep you posted as more information is revealed on where and when you can catch this buzziest of buzz acts when he touches down in a couple of months.
Com Truise released his first work in 2010, and it's been a meteoric four years since. The performer is part of the Ghostly International stable alongside faces such as Shigeto, HTRK and School Of Seven Bells, and won critical and commercial acclaim for his recent EP Wave 1.
