Coldplay Or Troye Sivan; Who Will Challenge Adele For #1?

Can anyone dethrone the pop superstar?

After dominating the ARIA Albums Chart for the past fortnight, UK mega-star Adele looks to have some hefty competition this week in the form of fellow British act Coldplay and Perth-based singer Troye Sivan.

While Adele's 25 went multi-platinum after one week of it being released and generally blitzed album charts around the world, Coldplay look to challenge the singer for #1 with their seventh studio album A Head Full Of Dreams.

Sivan's debut record Blue Neighbourhood is also a dark horse contender for top spot as his EP Wild peaked at #1 this past September, though he is expected to comfortably crack the top ten this week.

Rounding out the album debuts include US rapper G-Eazy's When It's Dark, posthumous Roy Orbison record One Of The Lonely Ones and Bruce Springsteen's box set compilation, The Ties That Bind: The River Collection.
