Coldplay Announce Ninth Studio Album, 'Music Of The Spheres', To Be Released Later This Year

Coldplay have a new album, due for release later this year. 

UK group are set to share their album Music Of The Spheres on Friday 15 October, with the band having already shared their first single from the album, Higher Power, back in May. 

The band have announced in an Instagram post today that they'll share their next single, Coloratura, this Friday. The album's next single is expected for release in September.

Music Of The Spheres is the ninth studio album from Coldplay and follows on from 2019's Everyday Life. 

The group shared their debut album, Parachutes, in 2000 which would go on to win the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album with tracks like Shiver, Yellow and Trouble. 

They followed up with A Rush Of Blood To The Head in 2002 and have found further success with releases like X&Y, Viva La Vida Or Death & All His Friends and more throughout their career.
