The beloved indie troupe will take the time for three capital-city performances this December
Cleveland, Ohio-bred indie-rock luminaries Cloud Nothings have confirmed they’ll be taking the time to put on some headline sideshows while in the country this December for the Meredith Music Festival.
Taking in the eastern capital cities of Sydney (Oxford Art Factory, December 10), Melbourne (Corner Hotel, December 11), and Brisbane (The Zoo, December 14), the extra appearances will give Aussie fans a chance to see the band peddle their most recent lauded full-length Here And Nowhere Else in a more focused, intimate setting than one would find at a festival.
Given the collective reputation of band members Dylan Baldi, Jayson Gerycz and TJ Duke for staging therapeutic yet engaging live shows, as well as an album track list that spans soundscapes from anthemic radio-length singles (I’m Not Part Of Me) to seven-minute epics (Pattern Walks), it would be well worth your time and money to check out what all the fuss is about if you’re on the right-hand side of the country.
Tickets for Cloud Nothings’ Meredith sideshows will be on sale from 9am (AEST) this coming Monday, August 25. Check the Gig Guide or see The Music App for all the details.
