Sound artists celebrate 20th anniversary with Severed Heads tribute

Australian "underground electronic music and arts collective" Clan Analogue - home to the likes of B(if)tek, Deepchild, General Electrik, and Telemetry Orchestra - are celebrating their 20th anniversary, and in doing so are releasing a tribute album to legendary Australian electronic group Severed Heads.

By either taking original Severed Heads material and reworking it, or crafting completely new songs inspired by the group's industrial techno, the Clan Analogue group will honour one of the Australian electronic scene's pioneers. The resulting album, Headspace, will be released "soon" through MGM.

For a limited time you can hear one of the album tracks, Snuck, from Sydney abstract artist Aeriae (AKA Wade Clarke). The song originally featured on Severed Heads' final album, Under Gail Succubus (2006). You can download it here, or listen below.
