Clairy Browne Signs With US Label Vanguard

Melbourne singer and band join the independent roster

Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes have signed with independent American label Vanguard and will release their album Baby Caught The Bus in the region this May.

The band – who have made inroads into the market following single Love Letter's appearance on a beer ad – join a roster that includes John Fogerty, Chris Isaak, The Living Sisters and Levon Helm.

The nine-piece band will be showcasing at this year's South By Southwest conference in Austin, Texas, before they embark on a cross-country tour.

The album will be released 21 May.
