EXCLUSIVE: City & Colour To Perform Special Closing Night Show At Brisbane Festival

Brisbane Festival is ramping up to release their huge 2019 program and today The Music can exclusively reveal City & Colour will close the festival.

Canada's Dallas Green will play a special closing night show at Brisbane's Riverstage to coincide with Sunsuper Riverfire on 28 September. City & Colour on the river with fireworks in the background? Yes please. 

Appearing on an upcoming episode of The Green Room With Neil Griffiths, Green shared he was excited to return to Australia.

"It'll be good," Green said. 

"I've done it a couple of times where I've just gone to Australia for a weekend and it's pretty wild on your brain and your body, but it's a chance to go to Australia so I'm always happy to come across and play."

Brisbane Festival have said this will be City & Colour's only Australian show to help wrap up Riverstage's 30th birthday celebrations.
