Four of Chris Lilley's TV series have been removed from Netflix in Australia and New Zealand.
As Variety reports, the streaming service confirmed that Summer Heights High, We Can Be Heroes, Jonah From Tonga and Angry Boys have been "removed permanently" from its platform.
The move comes in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement - Lilley's portrayal of non-white characters in his shows has been criticised for some time.
Lilley has used blackface for some of the characters he has portrayed in his works, including Tongan student Jonah Takalua in Summer Heights High and S Mouse in Angry Boys.
In 2017, Lilley issued an apology after re-sharing a music video for a fictional song from Angry Boys on Instagram, only hours after protests in Melbourne over the death of 14-year-old Indigenous boy Elijah Doughty.
The news comes after famous UK series Little Britain was also pulled from streaming services due to the use of blackface throughout the series.
"There's a lot of historical programming available on BBC iPlayer, which we regularly review," a BBC spokesperson said.
"Times have changed since Little Britain first aired so it is not currently available on BBC iPlayer."
The Music has contacted Netflix for comment.
