Local legends step up
Copping a massive loss two weeks out from the event, Falls Festival has announced that headliner Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, will not be performing on the Fremantle leg of the tour.
A statement from organisers says the Atlanta and Community favourite will now be flying out of the country earlier than expected after scoring Golden Globes nominations.
Appearances at Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron Bay will remain the same with Falls saying Glover “looks forward to making this date up to [WA] in the near future”.
“Due to the proximity to Christmas and the requirements for Visas, getting an international replacement just isn’t possible,” the statement read.
