Chet Faker Enjoys Strong Digital Debut

Chet Faker is the highest local debut of the week in the ARIA Digital charts as Madonna dominates elsewhere.

Melbourne's hyped alt.soul swooner Chet Faker released his EP Thinking In Textures into 29 on the Digital Album Charts. It was the only local debut across the Albums charts – Digital or Overall.

The Mars Volta's Noctourniquet debuted at 18 in both Digital and Overall, while Justin Townes Earle's Nothing's Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now was 42 in the Digital Album Charts. Rumoured for Splendour In The Grass, Django Django's self-titled effort landed 46 in the Digital Charts.

Madonna's MDMA took top spot in both.

OVERSEAS

Gotye and Kimbra's Somebody That I Used To Know moves from five to four in US Billboard charts while sitting number one on Rock Songs and Alternative Songs charts.

Flo Rida and Sia jump from nine to seven with Wild Ones.

Wild One Two by Jack Back (David Guetta and Ricky Romero) featuring Sia moves from 18 to nine in US Dance/Club Play chart while Flo Rida and Sia move from 31 to 30 with Wild Ones and Gotye & Kimbra's Somebody That I Used To Know moves from 42 to 37.

Around the grounds and Somebody That I Used To Know is number one in the French chart, it's number five in the UK.
