CherryFest: Tumbleweed In, Big D Out

Wollongong's most well-loved stoners join the already immense bill.

More Tumbleweed More Tumbleweed

The line up for the inaugural CherryFest event was already looking pretty amazingbefore today, but we've just got news that it has become even better with a big addition to the line up.

The relatively recently reformed tour de force that is Tumbleweed are the latest super heavy, super amazing band to be added to the bill, which already features the likes of Eyehategod and the Omar Rodriguez Group, to name just a couple. The band will be running through classic tracks from yesteryear as well as the blazing new shit they've been working on and they just seem a perfect addition to the bill that already stands.

Unfortunately Boston ska punks Big D & the Kids Table have pulled out of the show, in fact they are not actually able to make it over to Australia at all. But this announcement, as well as news that the first 500 people to grab tickets to the 800-capacity event will get a free t-shirt, ought to be enough to ease the misery.

The show happens on Sunday 25 November. You can grab your tickets from the Cherry website right now.
