Watch 'Shiny Gun' here
Alt-country singer/songwriter Fraser A Gorman has unveiled a retro, Anchorman-style video clip for his newest single Shiny Gun, featuring none other than the head of his label, Courtney Barnett.
The video, directed by Sunny Leunig, accompanies the folksy song off Gorman's upcoming album, Slow Gum, and is set in a newsroom in August 1972 in Canberra.
The video depicts the four 'journalists' (who you'll recognise as Gorman, Barnett and fellow musos Angus Agars and Davey Lane) as part of the Channel 5 news team — a sly tribute paid to Ron Burgundy's iconic San Diego band of merry men, on top of the general aesthetic of the clip.
Gorman's debut album is due out on Friday, 3 July and he'll be on tour from that same day onwards.
