At 23 years of age, country-soul artist Fraser A Gorman seems to have lived far beyond his years, using this Americana-infused wisdom to create and now announce his debut album, Slow Gum, which is due to be released on Monday, 29 June.

Gorman will be heading around the country for seven shows to coincide with the release of his debut album, where he'll stop by Red Hill, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Geelong over the course of three weeks.

The singer/songwriter is already on Melbourne troubadour Courtney Barnett's record label, Milk! Records, and has performed with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Davey Lane and Jen Cloher.

You can listen to the second single, Broken Hands, off the upcoming debut below and check out Part 1 of Gorman's SXSW tour diary here (there are five).
