They'll also play Yours & Owls
Four-piece rockers from Seattle Chastity Belt have broken their abstinence and announced their first ever tour of Australia for later on this year.
With two albums already under their belt and another currently in the works, the girls are satirising their way into the mainstream through music and lyrics that challenge gender inequality, but at the same time, are just anecdotes fueled by partying and boredom.
Crowned by Courtney Barnett as "the coolest people I have ever met", the band's blunt yet refined combination of post-punk and rock has seen them tour Europe twice and play alongside the likes of Courtney Barnett, Death Cab For Cutie, Wire and Protomartyr.
Catch Chastity Belt in all their purity in Brisbane first on 29 September, before they head to the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne. They'll also stop by Wollongong to play Yours & Owls Festival.
